After watching the show, getting my recap written, and sleeping on it, I realized something odd about the first episode. Why didn’t the Orange Team go home? Now, I don’t dislike the Orange Team, I don’t dislike any team. I may have a favorite in the Purple Team, but that is because they live near where I grew up.

The reason I ask why they didn’t go home is because they took the money in the rewards challenge. Usually when a team takes money over other prizes, that team goes home first thing. People see that person or team as greedy. As soon as I saw the Orange Team slip below the yellow line, I said, “Yep, they are out.” That is just the way I would have voted, but I also would have taken the money as well .
